What does Odoo offer specifically for administrative accounting firms?

The office pays for its own Odoo Custom license (which includes Studio, multi-company, and API) for the number of desired users (=employees). See also blog: https://www.dooit.nl/blog/odoo-faq-19/drie-odoo-hosting-vormen-welke-past-bij-jou-146
In this administration (referred to as 'database' in Odoo), employees are created with or without specific rights. It is, of course, not a requirement to conduct your own bookkeeping in this administration, but it is possible. As an office, you now have all Odoo apps at your disposal!
The office must work in the Odoo online version because in this online version you have all (client) databases together in one place (which is not possible in
Odoo.sh)

What does the Odoo accounting arrangement entail, what benefits does the office receive:
- 2 apps free (the client of the office thus sees 6 apps, 4 are always free, 2 paid: Accounting and Documents) - a client of an accounting office with this arrangement thus gets 4 + 2 apps for free.

- Unlimited number of client databases can be created
- Unlimited number of client contacts can be given access to a client database (!)
- Option for the client to take a (own) paid license, whereby the office has free access (so the client only pays for their own employees' access and then has all apps available)
- An Odoo (client) database is available for 12 months (by default, a free database expires after 3 months if not logged in in the meantime)
- Credit for scan and recognition can be linked in such a way that it applies over all databases (own and all clients).
- Easily invite users, remove them, and file VAT returns - directly from the database overview (odoo.com) - so without having to access (connect to) the (client) database.

When does one need to pay extra?
* when an extra app (a 7th) is activated in the client database (the Apps app).
because the client also wants a website, or wants to log hours on projects, or work with quotes, orders, inventory, production, etc. Consult with us beforehand! We will send a quote to the client, once it is signed, a paid license will be activated in that client database after which the extra app(s) can be activated.
* when an extra user is created in the own office database.
Frequently asked question: in the case of a paid license, can the invoice be made out to the office (instead of the client). Unfortunately, that is not possible and Odoo does not do that (Odoo wants to keep everything pure and transparent).
