Why conduct a preliminary investigation or Proof of Concept (POC)?

Conducting a preliminary study or Proof of Concept (POC) when choosing Odoo can be important if you are experiencing uncertainty and want to clarify the challenges in advance.
The content of a POC can vary, so determine together with us which processes you want to include in the preliminary study.

What answers does a preliminary study provide you:

1.       Verify that Odoo really works for you
With a POC, you test whether Odoo truly meets your organization's needs. It prevents you from discovering during implementation that Odoo is not sufficient in certain areas. Therefore, a dedicated Odoo environment is created specifically for you.

2.       Limit risks
By conducting a POC, you identify problems earlier in the process. Such as whether a specific Odoo App provides sufficient functionality, or if there are technical limitations or integration issues with other systems. It helps to avoid surprises, allowing you to make better decisions.

3.       Test usability
A POC allows employees to try Odoo, they log in to your own Odoo (test) environment. This way you can see how easy they find it to work with Odoo and accept Odoo. This is important for a successful implementation.

4.       Cost savings
By discovering early on how suitable Odoo is, you save costs during the implementation, after all, the key-user team has already given its commitment.

5.       Integration assessment
With a POC you test how well Odoo works with the required existing systems and processes (flow) in your organization.

6.       Faster decision-making
A POC quickly provides you with useful information, allowing you to make a better decision about the choice of Odoo.

7.       Stakeholder involvement
By involving stakeholders (management) from the beginning and asking for their feedback through a POC, you ensure that the final decision is widely supported and the chance of success is greater.
