Good news! We have approved Odoo.sh version 17 and put it into production; we are live! It's great to have that fresh look & feel and to arrange apps in your own order, fun to now have AI (chatgpt) write proposals (website/knowledge articles) and so much more.
Our advice: test thoroughly (see tips) and plan this consciously together with one of our consultants.
After conversion, only the administrator of the database receives a Upgrade report: 17.0 (see below for an example). Review it carefully and implement the proposals. The upgrade report with us did show changes that we had not noticed during testing (such as certain automated actions that are now triggered on field A, which has been renamed to field B by Odoo). Also, that website layout (portal) changes had disappeared.
