Wohler B.V. is a group of companies active in welding, construction, service, and machine delivery and rental. In addition, Wohler is an official dealer of Pöttinger Entsorgungstechnik and supplies compaction containers and related machines in the Netherlands and Belgium.
For daily operations, Wohler has been using an AccountView Team version since 2009, linked via Blue10 to a self-developed rental application. However, management wanted to work fully cloud-based starting in 2026. AccountView Online turned out not to be the right solution, as it is still a hosted Windows application and therefore not fully cloud-native.
After a demonstration of Odoo – specifically the Financial (Accounting) app – the benefits of the platform became immediately clear:
- significant time savings thanks to multi-company and intercompany functionalities;
- flexibility and self-customization via the Studio app;
- extensive expansion possibilities, including support for rental processes.
In consultation with accountant Visser & Van Eck, Wohler therefore decided to switch to Odoo for the next fiscal year.
Together with dooIT, several core processes have been successfully implemented within Odoo. Among other things, the following apps have been set up:
- Accounting
- Subscriptions
- Sales/Purchase
By implementing in phases, Wohler now has one integrated and fully cloud-based platform. Odoo also offers the flexibility to easily implement additional business processes in the next phase.
