For our client JJ van der Hoeven, we facilitated the transition from Visma Net to Odoo. The main reason for this migration was the desire to save on software costs and to collaborate more effectively with the in-house accountant InAccount (who also works with Odoo).
With the Odoo Custom version, JJ van der Hoeven now has one integrated system: from financial administration to time registration & project management, as well as website (CMS) and much more.
Financial savings and more control over processes
By switching from Visma Net to Odoo, JJ van der Hoeven has achieved significant cost savings, but also gained easier control over daily administration. Odoo is much more forgiving compared to Visma Net. In the Odoo software, you are allowed to make mistakes and can easily correct them. It also fits better if you have few functionally separated processes.
Within Odoo, we have restructured the entire accounting along with the time registration on project apps. Hours can now be registered more easily (multi-company), after which they can be directly processed in the administration and invoiced (fixed price and regional projects). This results in:
- less manual work
- fewer error-prone processes
- faster workflow with invoicing
- real-time insight into hours and costs
Invoice layout adjusted for G-account calculation
An important part of the implementation was adjusting the invoice layout. So that at JJ van der Hoeven it is automatically calculated and placed on the invoice which amount - by the customer - needs to be transferred to the G-account.
As a result:
- the invoicing better meets the administrative requirements
- clarity is created for customers
- manual calculations are avoided
- the financial administration saves extra time

Result of the transition
Thanks to the implementation of Odoo, JJ van der Hoeven now has a future-proof ERP system. The combination of significantly lower costs, layout with G-account with automated calculations provides a more efficient way of working.
Odoo is als een snoeppot. Als je teveel apps in één keer installeert kan je misselijk worden. Daarom is bewust in een latere fase pas door dooIT een nieuwe website binnen Odoo gemaakt. Deze gaat live in mei 2026.
