Cash register and IoT: more convenience in the store
For STB, the cash register module is indispensable, including a payment terminal directly connected via the Odoo IoT app. Thanks to this connection, the PIN receipt is directly linked to the Odoo cash register receipt, preventing errors. Soon, the Windows 10 PC will be replaced with an all-in-one PC with a touchscreen, further enhancing the user experience.
Intensified collaboration between modules
Currently, STB Computer Service is intensively using the following Odoo modules:

- Helpdesk
- Purchasing
- Cash register
- Sales
- Inventory
Thanks to Odoo, there is now complete integration between the components, which significantly simplifies daily work.

- Website & Whatsapp integration
These modules are new for STB and offer additional functionality that was not available in the old system. Due to time constraints, they have not been used extensively yet, but that will certainly happen.
A smooth transition
The transition went surprisingly smoothly. STB took care of much of the setup themselves because they enjoy it and are technically skilled. A previous partner unfortunately had to stop, but they recommended dooIT as a successor. Since then, we have been their regular backup for moments when things get really complex.
